Sovereignty allows us the ability to have the freedom from external control and therefore be unlimited. To claim sovereignty one would need to have access to personal power.
First one must recognize that all power comes from the life force that enlivens all beings. It creates the universe, is part of manifestation and connects the matrix of the living world. It is the cause and we are the affect or it is the action and we are the vision.
We can call this power, light, source, original energy, Spirit, etc. It is what we are made of and allows us to exist. If we do not have direct access to essential energy then our actions are invested only in the causes our ego creates, in order to feel in control of ones life. The will becomes tainted with human life disconnected from its spiritual origins. This creates an individual who reacts rather that co-creating with the universe, in a way that benefits all.
How does one connect with source? One would have to be present in their physical body - to be here and conscious of what is within. So to have access to power, we start with presence in our physical body. This is what some call "being grounded". When we anchor the light in our physical bodies, this allows us to put this power that flows through us from the cosmos, effectively into the world. We are in body and rooted in the Earth. We are part of Nature and are able to flow a balanced interchange with all beings.
Starting with breath, we potentize our life force, with incoming and outgoing energies. We harmonize the feminine magnetic forces with the masculine dynamic forces, along with becoming the tree of life = we are the marriage of heaven and earth. Our physical bodies become the conduit for the flow of energy traveling to and from creation.
Only when we are in direct relationship with the universal power do we begin to have a relationship with our own innate power. A power we are born with and can develop as we mature in our awareness of life interacting with muli-dimensional connections. If we interchange with a orientation of only the material world then that is what exists and informs our reality. We choose to stay limited by rigidly approaching our lives. This disallows freedom and sovereignty. We then have to fight for our survival and compete with others for finite resources.
By connecting with essential energy, we are expanded, we have a broad horizon, an open landscape. We have unchained ourselves from the limitations that only a partial view of life, gave us. When we are uncaged from our narrow beliefs and dense emotions, we have the opportunity to bring our happiness and love of life to others and the world in which we live.
The heart is able to open and by living in right relationship with all of life, we can now have the power to affect goodness in our own lives and for the benefit of others. Power is now a responsibility that is consciously directed from our connections to and with the creative force of the universe. We are no longer separate; we are part of the unity and an individual expression of source.
Personal power is really about allowing the will to be guided and activated by the Divine.
